This college-level course was created for teachers, administrators, and schools seeking to offer statistics—the art and science of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data—to a broad cross-section of students. Students will be prepared for success on the College Board’s AP® Statistics* exam and in college, with a thorough grounding in the four major themes:

  • Exploratory data analysis
  • Designing studies
  • Probability models and simulation
  • Statistical inference

Students will experience hundreds of real-life applications of statistics, and they will be able to communicate their statistical thinking effectively on the AP exam. This high school course covers more topics in greater depth than any single “equivalent” college course.
